My friend records one interesting H.265 video file with his digital camcorder and he transferred it to me for enjoyment. I think this H.265 video part is very proper for my speech and want to edit it in Final Cut Pro for my speech. But the question comes, that is, I can not import the H.265 file into Final Cut Pro. How should I successfully edit the H.265 file in Final Cut Pro? Thanks for your answer.
With the H.265 popularity, many devices and applications have added H.265 support, among which, Final Cut Pro is included. Final Cut Pro has added H.265 support since its version 10.4. Also, Apple iOS 11 and MacOS High Sierra add H.265 support too. However, Final Cut Pro 10.4 and the higher versions working on MacOS High Sierra only support H.265 recorded from iPhone 7/8/Plus and other Apple devices, but do not support H.265 from so many digital camcorders or from Amazon, Ultraflix, etc or from any other source. But h.265 file is very easy to be obtained from sources other than Apple devices. How can we import these H.265 files to Final Cut Pro for edition?
