My older digital camera recorded some DV footage to me, but I do not know how to successfully play the DV files on my iPhone after I tried twice. Can you share some method to me?
I have never got some DV files until I got some from my camera yesterday. I have no idea how to play the DV files. Neither my iPhone, nor iPad, iPod can play the DV files. Is there any way to play the DV on iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc?
Many relatively new HD cameras do not adopt DV format as their recording format, but some older cameras still record videos in DV format. If you happen to have an older digital camera which records videos in DV format and you also want to play the recorded DV on iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV and other Apple products, converting the DV format to MOV format is needed. Because DV is not supported by the above said Apple portable devices and Apple TV even if DV is supported by Apple FCP, iMovie, QuickTime. To convert DV to MOV, a professional DV to MOV converter is needed. To convert DV to MOV without quality loss and at the fast conversion speed, iDealshare VideoGo is needed.
Any DV can be easily converted to MOV as per the guide below.
Free download the professional DV to MOV Converter - iDealshare VideoGo(for Mac, for Windows), install and run it, the following interface will pop up.
Here we need to import the DV file to this DV to MOV converter. When importing DV, clicking the "Add file" button or using the drag and drop function is very helpful. Batch converting DV to MOV is supported.
Click the "Profile" to select "MOV QuickTime Video (*.mov)" from "General Video" category.
The DV to MOV file conversion can be easily started and finished by clicking the "Convert" button.
