I use Sony camcorder to record some MTS files and plan to post-produce the MTS files with my After Effects CC. I tried four times but still failed to import the MTS to After Effects. Why? After Effects CC does not support MTS? If so, how can I convert the unsupported MTS to After Effects CC supported video formats?
I have successfully edited some AVCHD files in After Effects CS6, but why I fail to do it now. My AVCHD files are from Panasonic camcorder with .m2ts extension. Do I need to update the After Effects CS6 to After Effects CC or what?
Adobe After Effects is a film and television making software for using in post-production. Adobe After Effects supports to import and export many video formats, but with some limitations for some video formats. For example, Adobe After Effects only supports to import AVCHD M2TS, but not AVCHD MTS. And that is why many users have failed to import MTS to Adobe After Effects for editing. The easiest solution to this is to use a professional MTS to Adobe After Effects converter to convert the unsupported MTS to Adobe After Effects supported M2TS, MPEG-2, etc.
