I recorded one MTS file with my Samsung camcorder, but the recorded MTS file can not be played on my Kindle Fire 8. Is there a solution to this? I do not have much professional computer knowledge and want an easy solution, by the way.
Just like iPad users who want to play all kinds of videos on it, many Kindle Fire users also want to play their downloaded or recorded videos on it. But before importing the videos to Kindle Fire for playback, users must make sure their video format is one of Kindle Fire supported ones. From Kindle Fire official website, we can know that MP4, 3GP, VP8 (.webm), M4V and MKV are supported by Kindle Fire and others are not. Can't we import the MTS files recorded by our digital camcorders to Kindle Fire for playback? Simply judging from Kindle Fire supported video format lists, we can not directly import MTS to Kindle Fire, but there are other workarounds and among which, the popular one is to use a MTS to Kindle Fire converter to convert the unsupported MTS to Kindle Fire supported video formats.
The following guide can help to easily convert any MTS to Kindle Fire supported MP4, MKV, etc.
