I want to play a 4K UHD mp4 movie on my TV. My TV can play HD MP4 movies but not UHD MP4 although the Manual says it is supported. I have some other UHD movies with extension .ts which can be played fine on my TV. So is it easy for me to convert this UHD mp4 movie to TS file? Also will I lose any resolution in the process? Thanks in advance for any help!
Is there some easier way that I can convert MP4 file to transport stream(TS file)? I was searching on forums, but could not find any solution...
TS, the MPEG transport stream, is mainly used for broadcasting, but with the more and more video formats supported by more TVs, media players and other devices TS format gets more and more popular, so sometimes we have the need to convert other formats, such as MP4, to TS for playing MP4 on TS-supported devices or media players.
The detailed step by step guide on converting MP4 to TS is provided as follows.
Free download the professional MP4 to TS Converter - iDealshare VideoGo (for Windows, for Mac), install and run it, the following interface will pop up.
You have two ways to load MP4 to iDealshare VideoGo: click "Add file" button or drag and drop MP4 to iDealshare VideoGo.
Click "Profile" button to set TS as the final output format.
After all settings are done click "Convert" button to start and finish converting MP4 to TS.
TS is a standard digital container format mostly used in broadcast system for transmission and storage of audio, video, etc. TS may carry multiple programs. TS is specified in MPEG-2 Part 1, Systems.
